Then download the Soundfr app from Google Play or the App Store. To find the app, scan the QR code on the website or search for “Soundfr” in the app store.

An account is created for you when you subscribe. You can sign in to the app with the phone number you used for your subscription.

When you start Estonian speech recognition, the app uses your phone’s microphone and processes speech locally on your phone. This feature only requires microphone permission. An internet connection is needed for the initial setup; after that, you can use it offline.

An internet connection to the Soundfr server is only required to translate spoken English into Estonian.

No. Audio is processed in real time to convert speech into text, and no audio recording is stored on the server. The audio is deleted after the text is generated.

If you experience a problem, you can report the transcription. In that case, the audio is stored only to identify and resolve the issue.

Transcribed text is stored on Soundfr’s server to improve the service and provide customer support. You have the right to request access to your data, as well as its correction, export, or deletion.

Access to Soundfr is provided through a monthly subscription that renews automatically each month. An account is created for you when you subscribe, and you can sign in to the app with the phone number you used for your subscription.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will remain available until the end of the active subscription period.

To cancel, contact us or use the button at the bottom of the payment confirmation email.

You may only use Soundfr if you have the necessary right to do so or the consent of the people taking part in the conversation. The app must not be used to secretly record or transcribe private conversations.

You can request the deletion of your account and personal data through the app or by emailing info@soundfr.ee.

The font size cannot be changed within the Soundfr app, but you can adjust it in your phone’s settings.

Soundfr currently supports the following language directions:

When you finish the transcription and tap “Stop and copy,” the text is automatically copied to your clipboard. Then open the app or document where you want to save the text, press and hold the input field, and select “Paste.”
